What is ChurchBox?
ChurchBox is the church management tool that the church uses to manage the scheduling of volunteers for the various ministries. Through ChurchBox, registered parishioners can update and manage their details, control the privacy of their personal data, access the volunteers contact details and the ministry schedule. How can I sign up for My ChurchBox?
You may have received and email from the church office inviting you to sign up. Please click on the link in this email and follow the instructions. If you are new to the parish, and wish to volunteer for a ministry or you did not receive this email, please email the parish office: stafford@bne.catholic.net.au
How do I log in to ChurchBox?
You can log in via a web browser on a computer, tablet or smartphone.
- Click here to go to the Sign In page.
- Enter your username (the email address you used when you signed up)
- Enter your password
- Then click ‘Submit'
How do I access my profile page?
Log in to ChurchBox - as above. This will take you to Your Dashboard where you can:
- Manage and update your personal details
- Mange your contact details
- Change your privacy settings. You can alter your privacy settings and choose if you wish your contact details visible to other parishioners.
- Change your communication preferences. We use ChurchBox to keep our volunteers connected and informed by emailing volunteers. You can manage your own communication preferences from your profile page, in relation to scheduling reminders.

- Click ‘Click here to recover’
- Enter your email and click ‘Send Password’
How do I record dates and times when I am not available?
From the ‘Rotas’ tab select the ‘Your Availability’ menu. The screen you then see lists the dates and times of all the services and your availability. Click on ‘Change’ to update your availability.
How Do I request cover for a schedule? (click to view video)
If you can no longer serve on an assigned day, you can use ChurchBox to ask your team to see if someone can cover for you. From the ‘Rotas’ tab select the ‘View Rotas’ and click the relevant Rota Name. This will take you to a screen where you will click the red 'Request Cover' button. Write a brief message (optional) or place a dash in the message box and click the green 'Request Cover' button to send an email to the other volunteers in your team. Once another team member has clicked ‘Volunteer’ you will receive an email that you are off the hook and the roster will be automatically updated to reflect the change.
How can I cancel my account?
If you wish to have your personal details removed from ChurchBox please select 'Remove Account' from the 'Site Settings' menu that appears when you click your name in the top menu.
How is my privacy protected?
Through ChurchBox, registered parishioners can update and manage their details, control the privacy of their personal data, access the volunteers contact details and the ministry schedule.
Data entered in ChurchBox is stored by an external processor outside of Australia in the United Kingdom or European Union. The processor is obligated to handle your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
At Our Lady, Queen of Apostles we take our responsibilities under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act) very seriously. In order to protect personal data in ChurchBox further:
- Only parishioners who have been invited to ChurchBox can log in;
- Only invited parishioners of our Church are able to see contact details of other members;
- You have control over who can see your personal data. You have the option to decide what if any personal data is visible to other members of our church family. In addition, you can limit the personal data you enter in ChurchBox to your name and email.
